The Presqu'île de Guérande is a land of both fresh and salt water, and there is certainly no shortage of water activities.  If you'd like to learn sea fishing, climb aboard a fishing boat, out on the Atlantic ocean, and be a real sailor, for just one or a few days.  Or you might prefer fresh water for a spot of trout fishing.  Yet another option is set off to the rhythm of the tides for a family shellfish harvest on foot, where you are likely to find cockles, winkles and other seafood – but go easy, because this environment is fragile, and its exploitation is controlled.
