Family cycling

The cycle track is ideal for gentle bike trips.  The 'Vélocéan' cycle track provides safe cycling conditions and allows you to enjoy the landscapes and natural treasures of the Presqu'île.
Cycle circuits have been created throughout the Presqu'île de Guérande, completing these facilities so that all sites of interest are accessible.
The 'Vélocéan' cycle track was created on the initiative of the Loire-Atlantique département, to provide safe, continuous and coherent circuits available for all users.  The ultimate objective is to connect the Vendée and the Morbihan départements by crossing the Loire-Atlantique département.  There are now 7 circuits spreading north and south from the Loire River. 

Cycle circuits:
The Master Plan for Bicycles drawn up by the CAP Atlantique aims to create cycle circuits throughout the area, using the 'Vélocéan' as the principal trunk.  The year 2007 saw the inauguration of two itineraries in the north of the region, around the coastline and the Vilaine, and the countryside and the Brière. These itineraries, on shared roadways and specific cycle paths, pass through the towns and villages of the Presqu'île.
